UFAB has long experience of contract assembly of advanced machinery, and was established in 1968 with focus on offering long-term cooperation as supplier of design development and assembly of complete high tech machines. Over the years 1500 machine systems have been delivered to satisfied customers all over the world. Today a complete machine comprising 2500 article numbers is one of our on-going projects. The machine is undergoing final tests at UFAB and has capacity of packaging 24000 items per hour.

UFAB has a SS-ENISO 9001-2008 quality certificate and environment certificate SS-ENISO 14001:2004. UFAB has through the years delivered high quality, ensured by its well-developed quality system where inspection and testing methods have been finely tuned. UFAB has also over recent years invested in continuous improvement where Lean has been a natural implement in this development for eliminating wastage.

UFAB helps customers by taking total responsibility for development and assembly of machine systems. By focusing on the needs of the customer we adapt manufacture in order to deliver products on time and with the right quality. Sourcing has been used by UFAB to reduce manufacturing costs. This is accomplished primarily via a wide network of suppliers function as purchasers in both Sweden and China. Having an efficient production set-up with short lead times allows UFAB to release capital.
